Arrival Point – Mid Valley Station

The Mid Valley Komuter station is a KTM Komuter train station located in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur, operating on the Seremban Line. It was opened in August 2004 after construction that cost RM12.2 million.

The station’s structure is divided into two levels. The upper level houses the ticketing concourse and fare gates. The lower level has covered platforms that passengers can access from the upper level using staircases or elevators designed for handicapped passengers. The design of the Mid Valley station includes high-arched canopies and steel support frames, similar to the design of the Kepong Sentral station which opened in 2006.

An important aspect of the station is its proximity to Mid Valley City. It’s just 200 meters from major shopping destinations like Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens. An overhead bridge connects the station to the megamall. This station was built with the aim of providing an alternative mode of transportation to the area, which previously faced traffic congestion due to only road access. Direct parking facilities are not available at the station since it primarily serves the Mid Valley City area, but parking is provided within Mid Valley City. Buses also serve the station area via Jalan Syed Putra.
