Trains from Sungai Buloh to KL Sentral operate on the Tanjung Malim – Pelabuhan Klang rail line, passing through 8 stations during the journey. The travel time is approximately 40 minutes, regardless of whether it’s a weekday or weekend. Tickets for this route can be bought directly at the stations, as the KTM Komuter service does not offer the option to purchase tickets in advance.

Departure point – Sungai Buloh Station

The Sungai Buloh station is an integrated railway station located in the suburb of Sungai Buloh, Selangor. Situated to the northwest of Kuala Lumpur, the station boasts a strategic location near Jalan Kuala Selangor and Jalan Sungai Buloh, as well as Jalan Hospital. It serves as an interchange station connecting the KTM Komuter Port Klang Line, KTM ETS services, and the MRT Putrajaya Line. 

The station features a total of six tracks and three platforms, with four tracks and two platforms dedicated to KTM services, while the remaining two tracks and one platform serve the MRT. Its common elevated concourse serves as a central hub for ticketing, featuring ticket vending machines, ticketing offices, and retail outlets for the convenience of travelers. The station also offers essential facilities including surau (prayer room), toilets, and kiosks. Additionally, a parking lot for over 1000 cars and a nearby bus stop for feeder buses further enhance accessibility for commuters.

Arrival Point: KL

There are two main options for traveling from Sungai Buloh to Kuala Lumpur. 

KL Sentral

KL Sentral, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, serves as a central transportation hub offering various transportation options such as trains, buses, taxis, and light rail transit (LRT). Situated in the Brickfields area, it is conveniently positioned about 3 km from the city center. KTM Komuter ticket counters and ticketing machines can be found on both sides of Level 1 in the main concourse of KL Sentral. The KTM Komuter trains are conveniently situated on Level 1 of the Transit Concourse, ensuring a seamless transition for travelers.

Kuala Lumpur Station

Located on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Kuala Lumpur Station serves as the secondary departure point for travelers journeying from Sungai Buloh to Kuala Lumpur. This historic station is renowned for its colonial-style architecture, which originated in the early 1900s, attracting visitors as a notable tourist attraction.

The station primarily caters to KTM Intercity trains, providing a cost-effective alternative for travelers compared to the high-speed ETS trains.
