For a more economical option, there is the alternative of walking from the station to the city center, a duration of about 10 to 15 minutes, and then boarding a local bus to the jetty. From Kuala Kedah Jetty, a ferry ticket to Langkawi can be purchased for 34.50 MYR per adult, with the ferry service operating five times throughout the day to accommodate various schedules.
