Information about the Route (KL Sentral to Serdang)

The train journey from KL Sentral to Serdang on the Batu Caves – Pulau Sebang line consists of a short trip with five stations in between. Whether you are traveling on a weekday or over the weekend, the duration from start to finish is typically around 30 minutes.

Tickets for this journey cannot be bought in advance and must be purchased at the station. The total distance covered during the trip is 20 kilometers. The train makes its way through the following stations: MidValley, Seputeh, Salak Selatan, Bandar Tasek Selatan, Serdang.

During the weekends, the service runs 15 times a day. The earliest train on weekends sets off a bit later than on weekdays, at 06:53, while the final train of the day leaves just before the weekday’s last departure, at 22:43.

Serdang Komuter station, located in Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia, serves as a crucial transportation hub for KTM Komuter’s Seremban Line. Additionally, it functions as a major bus hub for RapidKL buses. 

The station offers two side platforms: Platform 1, which serves the Seremban Line towards Seremban, and Platform 2, which serves the Seremban Line towards Batu Caves. The Mines Shopping Centre and MINES Resort City are both easily accessible from the station, with just a 15-minute walk. The station provides several facilities, including public toilets, a car park, a ticket vending machine, a customer service office, and a prayer room.

KTM Komuter is a commuter rail service in Malaysia that operates in Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding suburban areas of the Klang Valley. It started in 1995 and is known for offering affordable fares for daily commuters. The service expanded in 2015 to include the northern states, improving the rail network’s coverage following the completion of the electrification and double-tracking project between Ipoh and Padang Besar.
