Known for its high speed and efficiency, the ETS is the fastest meter gauge train service in the country, reaching speeds of up to 140 km/h (80 mph). The service runs on the electrified and double-tracked stretch of the West Coast Line between Gemas and Padang Besar on the Malaysia-Thai border.
