Departure Point – Johor Bahru Sentral (JB Sentral)

Johor Bahru Sentral (JB Sentral) is an integrated transport hub in Bukit Chagar, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, operational since 21 October 2010. It serves as a key point for KTM Intercity train services within Malaysia and the Shuttle Tebrau service to Singapore, following the replacement of the old Johor Bahru station. The station was closed temporarily from January to June 2022 for a double-tracking project and has since resumed operations.

JB Sentral is part of the Southern Integrated Gateway, directly connected to the Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine Complex. It is conveniently located near the Johor Causeway to Singapore and linked to the City Square shopping complex.

The station houses a public concourse with ticket booths, retail shops, and waiting areas. It has designated gates for Shuttle Tebrau passengers (Gate A) and KTM Intercity passengers (Gate B). The waiting areas and platforms are on the first and ground floors, with six platforms in total, four of which are operational.

JB Sentral is also the planned central hub for future railway expansions, including KTM ETS and KTM Komuter South services, and will be linked to a proposed regional bus terminal and upcoming rapid transit systems. A local bus terminal and taxi stands are located outside the station to facilitate urban and cross-border transportation.

Arrival Point – Kluang Station

The Kluang railway station, situated in the town of Kluang in the Kluang District of Johor, Malaysia, is a functional train station that facilitates KTM Intercity train services. It is located in the central area of Kluang town, with all parts of the town accessible on foot from the station.

The station houses the Kluang RailCoffee, a coffee shop renowned for its coffee and charcoal-grilled toast with Kaya jam, which has been recognized as the Oldest Railway Coffee Shop in Malaysia by the Malaysia Book of Records on 3 August 2022.

Passenger services were temporarily moved to the Kluang Temporary Railway Station in late 2021, a stop set up on a viaduct close to the future Kluang Station site. The original Kluang Station continues to operate, providing facilities to passengers, including access to the Kluang RailCoffee, following the commencement of track removal in December 2021. A new station is under construction in Kampung Masjid Lama, and the existing old station is intended to be maintained as a heritage building.
