The Kuala Kangsar Railway Station is located in the royal town of Kuala Kangsar, Perak, and forms a part of the KTM ETS intercity train network. In 2008, there were discussions about constructing a new station at Kampung Talang Simpang Tiga and transforming the existing one into a museum. However, this plan was not implemented due to the challenges associated with relocating residents and acquiring land. As a result, the existing station, which was not deemed suitable for preservation as a heritage site, remains in operation.

The station is equipped with two side platforms, public restrooms, parking facilities for vehicles, retail outlets, automated ticket vending machines, a customer service office, and machines for purchasing drinks.
