The Gemas railway station is located 450 meters northwest of the bus station (Stesen Bas & Teksi Gemas) and is equipped with three side platforms and three tracks, offering free parking facilities and disabled-friendly services to cater to the needs of all travelers.

Inside the main station building, visitors can find air-conditioned waiting areas and toilets, as well as ticket counters. However, visitors should note that there are no cafes or convenience stores inside the building. Managed by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), the service offers diesel-hauled trains on three major routes that connect the South and East Coast sectors.
